We service the Regional Victoria with a high focus thoughtful cakes and baked goods.
Eli & Sun uses high quality ingredients while also supporting other small businesses sourcing our fresh produce, florals & decorations locally.

In our kitchen, all of our cakes are handmade "small batch from scratch" to bring you a quality sweet treat.

Meet the face
behind the bakes...
Hey there!
I’m Maddy, the maker, baker, creator at eli & sun custom bakes.
​
It all started in both of my grandmothers kitchens.
Me, 4 years old in my little apron helping Nan & Grandma make all the classics, sponge cakes, ginger fluffs , yoyos, forcer biscuits the list goes on!
​
My role as the little “apprentice” weighing out the ingredients, mixing the batter, also doing my bit with quality control… licking the beaters afterwards- as all kids should & must do! Seeing the polished, neatly piped desserts and sweets overflow from the kitchen at family events this is where my love for baking ignited.

Maddy
Fast track 14 years from Nan’s kitchen… I hopped, stepped, and jumped to the foodie capital that is Melbourne, starting my Chef apprenticeship at The Atlantic in Crown Casino. After the hustle and bustle of the city life I transitioned back to the country to then be signed off as a qualified chef at Mitchelton Winery. After a little break from hospitality I realised my passion for baking was a little deeper than I had first originally thought.
I needed to get these creative juices flowing again and do what sparks that joy. So here I am!
With my apron tied tight, I am keen to share my knowledge, creativity & love for all things sweet.
