Terms and Conditions

ORDER CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT
For orders over the value of $160 a 50% deposit of the total amount is required at the time of booking, this deposit reserves your required date of your order and is non-refundable. Orders are not confirmed until a deposit has been received. The remaining balance of the invoice is to be paid in full prior to pick up/delivery date, unless otherwise agreed upon. Customers are also welcomed to pay in full upfront at the time of booking.
Then once final payment is made there will be no changes of size or flavours of the cake.
Any design changes requested after this time cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
All quotes will be held for 30 days upon receiving.
All payments are made via a direct bank transfer. Details for payment will be provided at the time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS
We understand that things happen so if you need to cancel an order please get in touch with us via email to discuss your options. Any deposit that has been paid is non-refundable and will be held as a credit. We require at least ONE WEEK notice for all postponements. You will have the option to reschedule although the date you may require will be subject to availability.
REFUNDS
We want you to be happy with your order!
Refunds that are requested due to dissatisfaction of design, colour shade or general decoration will not be honoured.
If you are unsatisfied with the flavour or quality of your cake and request a refund, this will be assessed at the discretion of eli & sun.
In these circumstances, the remaining cake (at minimum 50% of the cake) must be returned to be evaluated. We are unable to issue a refund for a cake or product that has been 100% consumed.
DELIVERY & SETUP
Delivery and set up is depending on the locations of the venue and will be stipulated in the final price on invoice.
If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will place them on as part of the setup fee. You, the client acknowledges that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain other contaminants.
On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to the client.
DAMAGE
We will aim to give as much detail and assistance in relation to best storage and transportation for your order. We take no responsibility if a cake is damaged after it has been picked up by the client or an elected representative from the eli & sun HQ. If the order is being delivered by eli & sun to the clients address or event location, we will also not take any responsibility for any damage once delivery and setup has been completed. You/your venue are responsible for providing an appropriate, secure table and environment for the cake/product. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or below. Cakes are to be stored in the fridge or cool room until required for the event.

ALLERGIES
You, the client, takes responsibility for informing guests that the cakes or baked goods – unless dietary requirements were specified at the time of booking – may contain traces of eggs, soy, dairy, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts and other allergens. Eli & sun work in a clean, sanitised, registered kitchen and will work within your allergy requirements where possible, however the kitchen uses these known allergens and cross-contamination may occur. Eli & sun takes no responsibility for allergic reactions or injury to the client or guests due to consumption of our cakes or other products.
